WA Liberals back in Parliament for 2026

We’re back in Parliament this week, and the WA Liberal State Team has been working hard to keep the Cook Labor Government to account.

We’ve been focusing on the essentials – Health, Housing, and Household stress.

In between the horror story of the mother who had to give birth on the side of the Kwinana Freeway after presenting at Midland Hospital and being told they had no available beds, the chronic housing crisis and the scores of undeveloped land the Government has dragged its feet on, and the broader cost of living crisis affecting every Western Australian, there are so many ways this Government is letting families down.

And in holding this Government to account, we have a clear set of principles we are standing by. We believe:

1. If you work hard, you should be able to get ahead

2. In a fair go for everyone

3. Home ownership should be in reach

4. In tough consequences for breaking the law

5. Good governments get the basics right, then get out of the way.

Those are the Liberal values we are championing every day.
