The WA Liberals' Listening Tour One Year On

As I reflect on the past year since beginning the WA Liberals' Listening Tour, one thing has been clear wherever I have travelled across the State - West Australians want to be heard, and they want a government focused on the things that matter most in their daily lives.
Over the course of the Listening Tour, I have met people from all walks of life, in metropolitan Perth and across regional WA, and while every community is different, the concerns have been consistent. Housing is out of reach for too many people. WA's health system is letting families down when they need it most. And the cost of living continues to put real pressure on household budgets.
That is why I, and the Parliamentary Liberal team, have made listening such a priority, and why we will keep doing it. Because good and effective Opposition starts with understanding people’s lives, their frustrations and their hopes for the future.
We will continue to be a strong voice for West Australians who feel overlooked and unheard, and we will continue holding the Cook Labor Government to account where they are failing to deliver.
Thank you for your support over this past year. There is much more work to do, and I am determined to keep fighting for a better deal for West Australians.
