The WA Opposition is calling on the Cook Labor Government to start planning now for the future use of the King Edward Memorial Hospital site, with a focus on transitional aged care.


With 366 elderly West Australians currently in hospital waiting for aged care support, the Cook Labor Government has failed to plan for the future needs of our health system.


Retaining KEMH for public health use would help free up bed capacity, ease pressure on our hospitals and support older West Australians with dignity.
